Following on the heels of the original Back to the Future, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) returns from the past, only to be sent to the future! In this exhilarating sequel, Marty, his girlfriend Jennifer (Elizabeth Shue) and Dr. Emmet Brown (Christopher Lloyd) hop back into their time-travelling Delorean to visit the year 2015, to resolve a few problems with the future McFly family. But when the two return home, they soon discover gambling maven, Biff Tannen, has tampered with time to produce a nightmarish Hill Valley, 1985. To restore the present, Doc and Marty must return to the events of their previous adventure in 1955 and retrieve a very special book. Special Features for this Special Edition include, "making of" featurette, Q & A with director Robert Zemeckis and producer Bob Gale, deleted scenes, outtakes, storyboarding, production archives, trailers, additional featurettes and much, much more.

TOP CRITICS'S REVIEWS

Rotten: An ambitious film that fails to recreate the warmth or excitment of the first Back To The Future.

-, Film4, May 05, 2008

Rotten: Zemeckis' fascination with having characters interact at different ages of their lives hurts the film visually, and strains credibility past the breaking point, by forcing him to rely on some very cheesy makeup designs.

-Variety Staff, Variety, May 05, 2008

Fresh: Solidly entertaining.

-Tom Tunney, Empire Magazine, May 05, 2008

Rotten: By the end, you may feel that you've just sat through a feature-length commercial for both part one (which has to be seen to make this sequel comprehensible) and part three (a trailer for it literally ends part two).

-Jonathan Rosenbaum, Chicago Reader, February 26, 2007
