Meanwhile, lifelong bully Brent (voice of Andy Samberg, I Love You, Man) relishes in tormenting Flint just as he did when they were kids, and Mayor Shelbourne (voice of Bruce Campbell, My Name is Bruce) schemes to use Flint's latest invention, a device designed to improve everyone's lives, for his own personal gain. Who will win in the end?

Fresh: The humour in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is often anarchic, wicked, random and very funny. This is a fun film with a lot of spirit.
-Thomas Caldwell, Cinema Autopsy, July 06, 2010Fresh: Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs is visually inventive and exuberant, and has some neat running gags. But its characterisations are a little disappointing.
-Philippa Hawker, The Age (Australia), November 26, 2009Fresh: This 3D cartoon based on the popular children's book is sweet and fun -- not to mention a little trippy.
-Paul Byrnes, Sydney Morning Herald, November 26, 2009Fresh: The superb thing about Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs is that it never once shies away from its ludicrous premise.

Loved this movie. It's a bit different than the book but very cleaver. My 24 year old son was given this book by his 2nd grade teacher. We read it and read it and read it. We read it to our Grandson now. We all loved it. Good family movie.
