Academy Award®-winning director Martin Scorsese (The Departed, 2006) once again teams up with Leonardo DiCaprio (The Aviator, Gangs of New York) in this spine-chilling thriller that critics say “sizzles with so much suspense that it’s hot to the touch.” (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone)
When U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (DiCaprio) arrives at the asylum for the criminally insane on Shutter Island, what starts as a routine investigation quickly takes a sinister turn. As the investigation unfolds and Teddy uncovers more shocking and terrifying truths about the island, he learns there are some places that never let you go.
Stunning camerawork creates an atmosphere of subtle menace and mounting danger, within which an A-list cast delivers superb performances under Scorsese’s masterful direction.

Fresh:
-Joshua Rothkopf, Time Out, November 17, 2011Fresh: A brilliantly constructed mystery.
-C. Robert Cargill, Film.com, May 06, 2011Fresh: Shutter Island, is even less 'important' than The Departed. But Scorsese is clearly enjoying himself with this old-school throwback to thrillers past. And it's hard not to revel in it with him.
-Simon Miraudo, Quickflix, October 21, 2010Rotten: Shutter Island could have been an entertainingly hysterical trainwreck, but the train doesn't even leave the station.

It was very confusing at first and I still dont know if I know what happened. But I thought it exciting and kept me guessing and Dicaprio is always good. I though it was a good movie and I'm going to buy it.
