After a five-year absence from the stage, while he took time out to revolutionize the film industry with such box-office hits as I Can Do Bad All By Myself, Madea Goes to Jail, Why Did I Get Married, Madea's Family Reunion, and more, not to mention scoring a ratings smash on television with Tyler Perry's House Of Payne, Tyler Perry hit the road to star, write and direct this powerful, moving, and powerfully funny, live-stage production that has a message that proves universal, no matter who you are.
This time out, Shirley gets some bad news regarding her health. But things go from bad to crazy when she tries to get her family together for this announcement. Well, leave it to Madea, who steps in to gather the whole dang crew.
Once everyone arrives, this pistol-packing mama takes all prisoners, to share lessons on life as financial and drug problems within the family are dealt with, like it or not!
And with love, laughs, and a gospel-infused score, there's no doubt... you'll not only like it, you'll love it.
Perry regulars Cassi Davis, and Palmer Williams, Jr. co-star.
Special Features include interviews and more.

I personally was went to see this play while being film at Temple university in Philadelphia, And it was outstanding, sad, extremely funny and it was very well worth going to see it. It is wonderful how God uses this actor Madea (Tyler Perry) to relate a message to us here in society, which are matters that we see in our everyday life. If you appreciate life as good as i do, Please ..... i recomend viewing this play. Thank you Madea !!!
