Sometimes you need a girl, to get the girl.

Adam Sandler (Grown Ups), Jennifer Aniston (The Switch) and scene-stealing supermodel Brooklyn Decker star in this sexy, hilarious box-office hit based on the OscarĀ®-winning comedy classic Cactus Flower.

In this funny, sunny update, a plastic surgeon (Sandler), romancing a much younger schoolteacher (Decker), enlists his loyal assistant (Aniston) to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant's kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives.

Come along for the trip in a comic treat that also stars Nicole Kidman (Rabbit Hole), singer Dave Matthews in a rare film role, Kevin Neelon (TV's Weeds), and Rachel Dratch (TV's Saturday Night Live).

TOP CRITICS'S REVIEWS

Rotten: Jennifer Aniston has starred in so many lame romantic comedies that she's become an industry punch line, but drop her into an Adam Sandler movie and she comes off like Katharine Hepburn.

-J. R. Jones, Chicago Reader, December 06, 2011

Rotten: The central conceit serves the new version well enough, despite the filmmakers' regrettable addition of sundry idiotic distractions.

-Trevor Johnston, Time Out, November 16, 2011

Rotten: An egregiously unfunny enterprise that seem less crafted than extruded through the great product-mill that is Hollywood at its most homogenized and soulless.

-Ann Hornaday, Washington Post, September 24, 2011

Rotten: Amidst the wreckage of Just Go With It, Aniston and Sandler have a real chemistry. They should go elsewhere with it.

-Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly, September 07, 2011

A message or two
February 01, 2012

While appearing only light entertainment, there did seem to be a message or two in the end. Nicole Kidman played her character to the 9's. Adam Sandler in his usual flippant manner showed surprising depth. Jennifer Aniston was her bubbly self.

Adam did not disappoint. It was silly funny. If you just want to laugh you should get this film.

October 11, 2011

I don't know why this got such bad reviews?! I think that it had some really funny parts and was really cute.
