A Terrible Fantasy

At times beautifully shot, this very long movie comes off as artsy and too good for itself. But even Eastwood's poor choices cannot make up for a terrible story that's written as a personal vendetta against the title character. It is a story that can be debated, but it has never been verified by anyone, and so it is merely fiction. The screenplay spends so much time on created events that the viewer is left with the thought that they've been tricked into watching nothing more than polished propaganda.

I always seem to enjoy any move that Leo plays in. I was really interested in seeing the movie J. Edgar and I can say that I enjoyed it. I can say that I have learned alot about Mr. Hoover. All in all a good movie!

Leo is a fabulous actor and did a great job on this movie. However I also, found it on the boring side. Didn't watch the entire film. I may give it another look in the future.
